Who Are We?

The SCAD Production Office is dedicated to serving SCAD's Film and TV Department through our world-class team.
Background

About Us

Our mission is to educate, connect, and empower the SCAD film community to give creative students the resources, the know-how, and the confidence to make their dreams a reality.

The Savannah College of Art and Design brings together the best and brightest creative minds in an educational environment where students can learn about their industry and develop practices that will take them far into the professional world. At the SCAD Production Office, we provide many of those resources.

Whether it be through peer mentoring or major events across different majors, the film community at SCAD is elevated through the opportunities we promote through our office.

Additionally, the SCAD Production Office has locations at both the Savannah and Atlanta SCAD Campuses, meaning that no matter where student filmmakers find themselves, they can get the resources they need to get questions answered and go further in their education.

Education

We aim to educate students by offering office hours, providing a resource page on our website, and encouraging students to attend events with industry professionals.

Empowerment

We hope to empower students by giving them the resources necessary to bring their vision to life. Our website provides a forum to look for crew and spread the word about their projects.

Connection

Connecting with fellow filmmakers is essential to creating amazing work. We connect students through our website and Instagram platforms and host networking events to bring the entire FILMX department together.
