Piece Of Skit

LOGLINE: A sketch comedy pilot about gloriously awful people, a lazy comedian tanks on stage, a bizarre commercial for couples to divorce via an app, and an apathetic man discovers purgatory is the perfect place to do absolutely nothing. I am setting out to create a proof of concept / pilot episode of a sketch comedy show called “P.O.S. - Piece Of Skit”, where each sketch is a satirical exploration of the flaws that define us… or in other words everyone is a giant piece of shit. In a world where social norms often demand perfection, these characters embrace their imperfections and aren’t going to stop making a fool of themselves or change for anyone. Themes are being unapologetically self-centered, flawed, and often downright terrible. Each sketch plays with the idea that even the worst traits can lead to unexpected, uncomfortable, comedy. More interested in drinking and casually watching the chaos unfold. Sledgehammer - (Male 25-40) Charismatic, brash, and unapologetically offensive stand-up comic. Commands the room with over-the-top insults and shock humor. SKETCH #2: Divorcify & Divorcify Pro Rex Bloomfield - (Male 25-55) Loud, obnoxious infomercial-style salesman. Orange spray tan, unnaturally white teeth, overly confident. Embodies toxic masculinity and absurdity. Think “Scumbag lawyer” meets TV Personality/Host. Man (Sloppy Husband) - (Male 21-35) Lazy, beer-drinking, video game-obsessed dude. Completely checked out of his marriage. Comedic in his obliviousness and lack of emotional maturity. Woman (Wife) - (Female 21-35) The straight character to the sketch's absurdity. Grounded, rational, increasingly exasperated by her husband's antics. The voice of reason in the skit. SKETCH #3: Meeting with the Devil The Devil - (Male 21-35) Modern, sarcastic, casually evil yet charming. Not your typical menacing figure—more of a burned-out middle manager with a dark sense of humor. Demoness - (Female 21-35) Seductive, intimidating assistant to the Devil. Commanding presence, but limited lines. Visual impact role.
