The song explores the theme of remembering somebody you don’t have in your life anymore. The realization of this loneliness. Ideas of regret, raw emotion and vulnerability. How you miss the idea of them but you know they aren’t the same anymore. It’s the intricacy of on-and-off relationships and the fading of feelings.
